Crowns and Bridges
Crowns, sometimes called caps, cover teeth that have moderate to severe damage or injury to them. Large portions of a tooth that are missing or decayed are likely candidates for a crown as well as teeth that have had root canal therapy. Crowns cover the entire visible tooth portion. Crowns come in many different types: Various types of porcelain crowns, Porcelain with metal, gold crown, plain metal crown.
Another type of crown are veneers, which are basically half a crown and are done for cosmetic reasons. They restore mainly front upper teeth and go on the front surfaces of the teeth only.
